@LittleFox how big are these images? A minute is quite short if I look at our timings. Could you tell something about the number of OSDs and the current write rate in IOPS across the pool?

@INCO how many OSDs do you have with how many (write) IOPS?

@INCO how big is your cluster? How full and what is your usecase? If we may ask.

@INCO during the run of fstrim the fs is nearly unusably slow. For example 2 Minutes read time for the 40KB the textfile component of node_exporter needs to read.

@LittleFox the performance with HDDs here was too bad and HDDs to cheap.

Do you see major performance issues during the fstrim run on your VMs? How big is your cluster?

1) Do you run CEPH?
2) If so, do you have a SSD backed pool?
3) Do you use this pool for RBD images?

Das ging ja schnell, inzwischen sind wir schon bei >500k Metriken im Prometheus und bald wohl eher so ein paar Millionen. 📈

Na ihr seid ja lustig^^ :) Natürlich haben wir dann mit Tränen im Auge doch IPv4 Konfiguriert, damit wir auch da sicherstellen können das ihr eure/unsere Services erreichen könnt.

Leeeeuttee fürs Monitoring: es ist doch bestimmt total okay wenn wir da alle Services nur via IPv6 checken. IPv4 ist ja eh quasi kaputt. Ist doch okay oder? Oder?

@avanc naja die Telekom hat halt mal wieder eine IP gesperrt obwohl wir uns an ihre Regeln halten und dann hat es ewig gebraucht bis wir wieder entsperrt wurden.
